Anas Number 12 Exposé: I will resign if I was a GFA official

Following the premiere of Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ latest investigative piece, former Public Relations Officer of Asante Kotoko, Listowel Yesu Bukarson has called the resignation of all officials at the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
Mr Bukarson who was speaking on Happy FM’s Anopa Bosuo, said apart from two top executives in the Ghana Football Association; Kweku Ayiah and John Frederick Mensah who refused to accept the bribe that was offered them by Anas and his team, every other official at the GFA , from GFA Boss Kwesi Nyantakyi to everyone must resign.
“If I was an official of the Ghana Football Association, I won’t go to work today,   I will just resign. If you have any integrity to protect, you will just go to work today and resign. The disgrace is serious. Apart from Kweku Ayiah, every official who works at the GFA must resign today,” he said.
He added “I have a lot of respect for  Kweku Ayiah now. He has an impeccable integrity. All those saying it was entrapment or the method for the investigation was unethical, the answer I have for them is Kweku Ayiah. He is also a human being, why didn’t he accept the money? Because he has integrity. The entrapment didn’t work on Kweku Ayiah because he is not a thief, he is not greedy and he has integrity.”
According to him, football in Ghana needs to be cleansed and part of that cleansing was done at the premier of Anas’ Number 12 premier yesterday.
He told Happy FM in an interview on Thursday that no Ghanaian in his right sense will ask for a second chance for GFA boss Kwesi Nyantakyi.
“We need to clean our football. I don’t think any sound minded Ghanaian should say that Kwesi Nyantakyi needs a second chance. Cleansing Ghana Football was done and we all witnessed yesterday. On the back of the things that we saw yesterday, automatically, the system should be flashed out,” he disclosed.
