Nyantakyi should desist from challenging Anas – Listowell Bukarson

The Former Ashanti Regional Chairman of Ghana Journalists Association (GJA), Listowel Yesu Bukarson has entreated the former Ghana Football Association president, Kwesi Nyantakyi to keep in order not to worsen his case following his 9-page statement in response to the famous Anas Aremeyaw Anas investigation.
On Monday, the embattled former capo of the defunct Ghana FA challenged investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas to produce the unedited video recordings of their meetings after he described what he showed the general public as misrepresentations.
This is contained in a 9-page statement by the former CAF 1st vice president in response to the famous Anas Aremeyaw Anas investigation.
In the said statement, Nyantakyi also said he received $40,000 and not the $65,000 as reported by Anas.
He then claimed the said amount was reimbursement for his travel expenses, 3 first class flights plus boarding for him and 3 others and insists the audio in the tape claiming that the said amount was for shopping was edited in.
Nyantakyi also denied setting up a 3rd party company to benefit from payments of commission on a potential sponsorship package of the Ghana Premier League.
However, just hours after Nyantakyi released a 9 pager statement debunking the allegations levelled against in the Anas Aremeyaw Anas video, Tiger Eye PI has also released an official statement to clarify the rebut some of the claims made by Mr. Nyantakyi.
Adding more harm to injury, Mr. Nyantakyi has been asked to provide evidence for the alleged e-mail hacking he stated in his press release.
Tiger Eye PI also made it clear in relation to the $65,000 that the money was a gift and not reimbursement of funds as stated by Mr. Nyantakyi.
Speaking to Ohene Bampoe–Brenya on Happy FM‘s Anopa Bosuo Sports, Listowell, who is a confidant of Anas, has urged the beleaguered former GFA boss to back down from taking Tiger Eye PI on as it will further dent his image.
“Knowing how big Kwesi Nyantakyi is, I am wondering if he indeed signed that press release. Kwesi Nyantakyi should know better because he is claiming that a third party came to ask him for money doesn’t wash,” he told Happy FM.
“Kwesi Nyantakyi is underestimating Anas. I will advise Kwesi Nyantakyi to shut up on this matter.”
“Kwesi Nyantakyi should provide evidence not just press release. He is a lawyer and he knows evidences is key.”
“Kwesi Nyantakyi didn’t pay for his accommodation or flight tickets. He should bring the proof.”
“Anas has lots of confidence and trust in the security agencies that’s why he gave all the raw materials to them
“Anas is very happy and he enjoys the controversies. There is no burden on him or whatsoever. He feels satisfied. Ghanaians should pray for Anas, that’s the only thing he needs from them.”
