Ghanaian Rapper and BET nominee Kwesi Arthur, has stated that he has been through a lot in life but the best moment in his life was being nominated for the BET award.
After his struggles in life, Kwesi has overcome all odds and is now one of the most sought after artiste in Ghana. He won the best Hip-hop Song of the Year Award at the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
The nominee for Viewers’ Choice: Best New International Act 2018 BET Awards, Kwesi Arthur in an interview with DJ Advicer, host of the Ayekoo after drive show on Happy FM said;
“That has been one of the best moments in my life so far, I was with my friends one Friday and I was going through Twitter. I saw people saying congratulations Kwesi Arthur you’ve been nominated at BET.”
“I saw at BET Africa’s page but I wasn’t so sure. Me, I just thought it was a prank that somebody wanted to play on me. Later I saw lots of messages coming in, so I actually went to BET’s verified account and saw that it’s official, I’ve really been nominated. So I was surprised and amazed, and I see it to be God’s doing, I was so shocked.”
Kwesi Arthur is currently promoting his new single ‘Woara’.
