Da Hammer details how to make Sarkodie and other big Ghanaian musicians become like American stars

Ace music producer and entrepreneur Da Hammer has revealed how to make big Ghanaian artistes rub shoulders with American stars.

He made these revelations in an interview with Doctor Cann on Happy FM’s ‘Showbiz Xtra’.

“The industry needs community centres and community auditorium. The only way these big stars like Sarkodie and the rest are going to be like the American stars is if the underground boys too have a place to make money. So for example Nungua has an auditorium and all the rappers and singers in Nungua have weekends they make money. They create businesses for taxi drivers, they create businesses for people selling out the auditorium. They create a whole area where every weekend there is life band, a place to go o make some money,” he disclosed.

“Now if that happens over there, the conference centers and those big places will be reserved for the very very big artistes so that the young boys who are upcoming can also have their place in Nima auditorium where they can perform every Saturday, auditorium in Madina, auditoriums in every area across the nation should have micro concert areas, (auditorium) where people can make money on the lower level. Then we can then preserve our big artistes on larger pedestal,” he added.

It will be great to have Ghanaian stars become as big as the American stars. Coming from a legend in the industry, it will not hurt to invest in his ideas.
