Bulldog insists Zylofon doesn’t hate Stonebwoy

Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson, popularly known as Bulldog, has refuted reports suggesting that Zylofon Music does not like dancehall artiste Stonebwoy who was signed unto the label barely a year ago.

Stonebwoy, after more than a year of signing to Zylofon Music, says he has no plans of renewing the contract.

Asked by Lexis Bill, in an interview on Behind the Fame on Drive Time on Joy FM, if he is happy at Zylofon Music, Stonebwoy swiftly stated emphatically that he is not happy with his record label Zylofon Music.

“No, No, No, No. How Am I Supposed To Be Jumping Around? The Sincere Fact Is My Happiness Does Not Depend On The Workforce Of Zylofon Media.”

According to Bulldog on this development, he stated on Hitz FM today that Stonebwoy may have personal issues with some people on the music label but that does not imply Zylofon Music does not like him.

“What you might think [is] a problem might not be a problem,” he said and added that, “let’s not make it like Zylofon hates Stonebwoy, Zylofon doesn’t.”

According to him, all issues between Stonebwoy and Zylofon Music “have been patched up.”

Stonebwoy’s time at Zylofon Music became sour when fellow dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale was signed unto the label. It could be recalled that there was a nasty incident at the Champs Bar at Paloma in March this year where Stonebwoy fired a warning shot when Lawrence Nana Asiamah Hanson (Bulldog) allegedly tried to seize the dancehall act’s car keys.

Bulldog stressed that “what Stonebwoy is saying now is more Willie Roi” and that, the Willie Roi-Stonebwoy issue was way before Zylofon Music.”

“Stonebwoy has the right to say that Willie Roi doesn’t like him,” he added.

The news of the blocked collaboration came to light yesterday morning after artiste manager Mr Logic revealed on Accra-based Hitz Fm with KMJ where he stated that the two artists reached out to Willie Roi to help them have a collaboration with Stonebwoy but he kept it a secret from him.

Meanwhile, Stonebwoy has stated that he is not surprised at Willi Roi’s action.

According to him, Willie Roi has done things in the past that suggest that he doesn’t like him do for him to block such opportunity, it comes as no surprise to him.
