Former National Security Advisor under the late President John Atta Mills government, Brigadier General Nunoo Mensah, has echoed that Ghanaians are angry with the poor leadership in the country and if care is not taking, what happened in Arab [Arab Spring] is not far from Ghana.

The two times former Chief of the Defence Staff (CDS) in an interview on Happy FM’s Epa Hoa Daben show said there is a rising level of anger in the country and the reactions that will follow will not be surprising.
‘’I am not surprised at the anger of Ghanaians. They will continue to get angry and respond with violence. If we do not resolve the challenges, then we will witness more violence in Ghana.’’

He admonished leaders to learn from history about what brought about the revolution and prevent a repeat of that painful history.

Nunoo-Mensah also said, the rate of unemployment compared to the luxurious lifestyle of politicians he stressed will continue to infuriate Ghanaians and soon they will react in an uncontrollable manner.

‘’If we don’t solve the problem, the youth will soon take arms and attack us,’’ he added.
