Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko played a 2-2 draw in a 1989/1990 League match (also 31st December Revolution Cup Match) in Accra.

Superstition or Disrespect?
Kotoko’s Sarfo Gyamfi refused to shake hands with the Head of State Flt. Lt. J. J. Rawlings during inspection of the teams. Sarfo Gyamfi was later banned for 8 matches by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for “breaking protocol”.
