Bernard Oduro Takyi appointed honorary advisory board member of the renowned International Youth Diplomacy Conference

Presiding Member of Sunyani West District Assembly and Assembly man for Kwatire Electoral Area, Bernard Oduro Takyi has been appointed as a member of the advisory board of International Youth Diplomacy Conference (IYDC).

The advisory board is made up of former presidents, seasoned achievers, entrepreneurs, public servants and other persons of International repute and respect who have contributed meaningfully towards the driving and shaping of youth agenda and development.

Aside politics, Mr. Oduro Takyi is an entrepreneur and international speaker who promotes youth entrepreneurship and the development of Africa on platforms and seminars. He is the Regional Coordinator of the Commonwealth Alliance of Young Entrepreneurs-West Africa and led the team to the recent 9th Gujarat Global Summit in India. He is also the founder and CEO of Omanbapa Ghana Ltd, CEEP Educational Consult and other companies in Ghana.

He was appointed by Innovation for Empowerment and Development (IFED) Global; an organisation that has promoted diplomacy among youth in all African countries through annual conferences since 2014. The IFED urged Mr. Oduro Takyi to capitalise on his background as a young elected community leader and Presiding Member in one of Ghana’s District Assemblies to serve as an inspiration for the delegates of International Youth Diplomacy Conference.

An elated Mr. Oduro Takyi expressed his gratitude and pledged to dedicate his time,expertise and resources towards the achievement of the objectives of the advisory board in youth development and diplomacy.
