Equator Mobile Phones Ghana Limited has presented brand new smartphones to the winners of the just ended Happy Bible Challenge.

The maiden edition of the Happy Bible Challenge commenced with 20 contestants.  The thirteen-week competition had contestants being drilled in general knowledge and some selected areas in the Bible. After the knockout stages, 4 out of the 20 contestants qualified for the finals.

At the finals, host of the ‘Happy Bible Challenge’, Pastor Nyansa Boakwa , took the four finalists through three rounds of rigorous questioning about some details in the Bible. Each round saw contestants going through ‘Draw Your Sword’ and general knowledge among areas in the Bible.

At the end of the competition, Charles Mills Robertson was crowned winner of the competition. Emmanuel Oduro Agyapong who placed second while Joseph Akwetey Coker came third and Peter Nyamekye placed fourth.

However, the eight contestants who made it to both semifinal and the final itself, were all presented with a brand new Equator smartphone each.

Speaking about the Happy Bible Challenge, Emmanuel Akrumah, Programs Manager for Happy FM, commended all the contestants for putting in a lot of hard work in this competition.

“We at Happy FM take issues of religion very seriously and as such, through the Happy Bible Challenge, our aim is to encourage the youth to study the Bible and also apply it to their daily lives. We look forward to making the next season of the Happy Bible Challenge bigger and much better. I also want to thank our sponsors for helping us achieve this victory,” Mr. Akrumah stated.
