Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Okoro, who made a promise to the Black Queens weeks ago in Ivory Coast during WAFU Women’s Cup of Nations, will honor it on Thursday at the Tang Palace, Accra.
The award-winning actress surprised the Black Queens with a $ 500 donation after beating Senegal 2-0. Impressed with the Team’s performance, Miss Okoro made the $10,000 pledge, which was aimed at urging the team to qualify out of the Group stages.
