With less than a month for the Ghana FA Normalization Committee to draw the curtain on their reign in Ghana football, reports are that spokesperson of the team –Dan Kwaku Yeboah – has resigned.

In what could be described as an image redemption strategy for the Peace FM journalist Dan is believed to have tendered his resignation on 30th August.

Mr. Yeboah combined his professional job as a journalist and serving as the spokesperson for the Ghana FA in a direct conflict of interest.

Dan who was on a $1000 a month allowance as the spokesperson of the committee has come under huge criticisms for his posture against the Ghana FA before his appointment and how he conducted himself after jumping on the job.

Even though the reason for his resignation isn’t known yet, it is believed Dan is resigning from his post to court affection from the Ghanaian public after he was brutally criticized for his posture on Ghana’s AFCON 2019 budget.

Dan who vociferously blasted the Ghana FA for a budget of $4.1m budget for the 2017 AFCON jumped to the defence of the Sports Ministry after blowing $4.6m out of a proposed $6.1m at just the round of 16 of the tournament in Egypt a few months ago.

The news of his resignation has been laughed at by many who believe he is taking the decision as an image redemption strategy after his marriage with the NC exposed him to strong criticism from the Ghanaian sports media.

Dan becomes the second person after Madam Lucy Quist to resign from the Normalization Committee following their one-year mandate.

He was appointed the spokesperson for the committee in September last year and he confirmed his appointment to the media on September 29 2018.
