The ‘Totally Cheat’ hitmaker, Fancy Gadam said all his award wins spark controversy.
He narrated how two awards he won for two consecutive years namely the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) New Artiste of the Year, 2017 and Song of the Year,2018 sparked Controversies between him and other nominees such as Medikal and Patapa.
He said in an interview on Happy FM’s ‘Ayekoo after Drive’ that the reason for this conflict is because people refuse to see that Ghana music is beyond Accra. He also mentioned that others believed he may have used some form of charm to win awards.

He however refuted that claim by suggesting that he has a loyal fan base.
