Ghanaian high life artiste Kaakyire Kwame Fosu popularly known as KK Fosu has disclosed that he dropped out of school at the Senior High School level because of financial constraints.

He was speaking to Happy FM’s DJ Advicer on the “Ayekoo After Drive” show when he said: “I dropped out of school in the first year of senior high school. I was a brilliant student but I had to leave school because I was poor.”

He added that after leaving school he turned to contractual barbering in the areas of Korle Gonno and Dansoman in the Greater Accra Region to make a living.

KK Fosu is known for his popular tracks such as “Sudwe”, “Anadwo Yede”, “6’oclock”, “Akonoba” and “Toffee”. He has in recent times being signed onto World Map Records, a music recording label.
