Controversial football administrator, Kofi Manu has debunked rumors that former GFA president, Kwesi Nyantakyi; CEO Of Eleven Wonders, Takyi Arhin, Experienced Football administrator, JY Appiah and himself went to t the Dormaa palace over the weekend to campaign her GFA presidential hopeful, Osei Kwaku Palmer.

A video circulating on social media has it that the former GFA president and his friends were stopped by some angry youth of Dormaa from seeing the Dormaahene, Osagyefo Oseadeyo Agyeman Badu II.

The guards could be heard questioning Mr Nyantakyi’s appearance at the palace to see the chief and engaging Kofi Manu in a heated argument.

Speaking to Ohene Bampoe-Brenya on Happy FM’s ‘ Anopa Bosuo Sports’, the vociferous football administrator who is affectionately known as ‘Blue Boy’ explained the reason behind their visit.

“Anyone saying that Kwesi Nyantakyi went to the Dormaa palace because he was campaigning for Palmer does not think far. If Palmer really needs vote and is asking Kwesi Nyantakyi to vote for him, does he (Kwesi) have to travel in order to achieve that.”

“I advised Kwesi Nyantakyi to go and thank Dormaahene for his advice, support and counseling after the Anas exposè that was the only reason why we were there.”

The former Ghana Football Association president, Kwesi Nyantakyi was banned for life from all football-related activities by the world football’s governing body FIFA last year after the renowned administrator was captured in an investigative documentary engaging in corrupt and bribery activities.
