The next edition of the “Happy on Wheels” initiative by Ghana’s number one sports station, Happy FM, takes place at Ashaiman on 27th September, 2019. The “Happy On Wheels” initiative by Happy FM is targeted at promoting community engagement by engaging loyal listeners of Happy FM in their communities.

The ‘Happy on Wheels’ initiative has so far taken radio closer to its audiences at Neoplan Station, Kwame Nkrumah Circle, Abossey Okai, Madina and its environs and the next stop is Ashaiman Traffic Light on September, 27, 2019.

Happy FM will run its programmes; ‘Anopa Bosuo Sports’, ‘Nsem Pii’, ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ and ‘Wamputu Sports’ shows live from the Ashaiman Traffic Light.

The station will be providing a rare opportunity for residents and people who ply their trade around the Ashaiman Traffic Light and its environs to interact with their favourite Happy FM presenters and producers.

Speaking about the ‘Happy on Wheels’ initiative, Emmanuel Akrumah, Programmes Manager said, “The Happy on Wheels initiative has thus far been successful as our efforts to involve the ordinary Ghanaian in radio have yielded great results. We have toured some of the communities and the next community to host this innovative program is Ashaiman. We are very confident that the support from the community will be as immense as all the other communities that we have been to.

“I therefore urge all our listeners to join us on the 27th of September at the Ashaiman Traffic Light to interact with Happy FM presenters,” he added.
