Flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Mahama has met with the national executives of the University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) in Kumasi ahead of NDC’s manifesto development.
Mahama is leading the leadership of the opposition party to hold a series of consultative meetings with various stakeholders, ahead of the development of the party’s manifesto and the campaign for the 2020 elections.
John Mahama last month announced the setting up of Policy Working Groups tasked with the responsibility of developing solutions that are in tune with the aspirations of the people.
The groups according him, are also working to collate information from various economic and social groupings in the country through interactions.
Mahama was accompanied by the National Chairman, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo and General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia. Other members include former presidential aspirant, Joshua Alabi and other executives of the party.
