Lecturer at the University of Lagos, Dr. Boniface Igbeneghu who was captured on tape sexually harassing a female student in BBC’s sex for grade undercover investigations has been suspended by his church, the Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria.
According to the church, it totally disassociates itself from the purported conduct of Dr. Igbeneghu and promises to take appropriate measures.
In a statement, signed by the National Secretary of the church, Rev Ikechukwu Ugbaja, the church said “the attention of the leadership of the Foursquare Gospel Church in Nigeria has been drawn to a video clip trending on social media platforms titled ‘Sex for Grades: BBC undercover in West Africa universities.’ The general public is hereby informed that as holiness and Bible-believing church, we do not condone such heinous and unscriptural act among our ministers.”
