GFA Decides: We must restore confidence in the FA to attract sponsors – Fred Pappoe

Ghana FA presidential aspirant, Fred Pappoe says the Association can attract sponsors if the credibility and integrity issues of the FA are resolved.

The Ghana FA has suffered serious integrity and credibility issues after the Anas documentary on Ghana football, which led to the game banned by the government and the introduction of the Normalisation Committee by FIFA.

According to him, the new FA will be able to attract sponsors if confidence is restored into the system and also the new product is marketable to attract sponsors.

“TV rights cannot be attracted when we have credibility and integrity issues. We need to solve these issues before we can attract these sponsors”, he said.

He further said that for the product to attract sponsors its needs to be marketable.

“We have to make sure the product is marketable before we can attract TV rights by marketing the products very well.”
