Happy FM, Ghana’s number one sports station, as part of efforts to engage its loyal listeners in Accra is taking its community engagement campaign dubbed ‘Happy on Wheels’ to the Rawlings Park in Accra.

After the station’s first engagement at the ‘Neoplan Station’ at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle, Happy on Wheels has been to Abossey Okai, Madina and Ashaiman. It is now time for the community engagement to reach ‘Rawlings Park’, Accra.

Happy FM will run its programmes; ‘Anopa Bosuo Sports’, ‘Nsem Pii’, ‘Epa Hoa Daben’ and ‘Wamputu Sports’ shows live from the Rawlings Park. It is going to be a great opportunity for residents and people who ply their trade around the Rawlings Park and its environs to interact with their favourite Happy FM presenters and producers.

Speaking about the ‘Happy on Wheels’ initiative, Emmanuel Akrumah, Programmes Manager at Happy FM said, “Happy on Wheels is a project geared at increasing the level of involvement and engagement of the station with the local community. It also promotes the culture of inclusion of the ordinary Ghanaian and also community radio practices.

This event will be replicated in other towns across the country. Watch out for the next stop of ‘Happy on Wheels’ train,’’ he added

He urged all listeners to join Happy FM on the 30th of October at the Rawlings Park to interact with Happy FM presenters and producers.
