Ghana has moved up on the latest Coca Cola FIFA World Ranking to the 47th position released on Thursday.
Ghana were previously ranked 51st in the last edition with 1426 points.
The current ranking has seen the West Africa country amass 1439 points in the current list released following a good start in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against South Africa and Sao Tome.
The Black Stars defeated South Africa 2-0 and Sao Tome 1-0 in those games.
Other impressive performances from the Black Meteors and Black Stars B also contributed to the accumulation of points for Ghana on the latest ranking released.
On the Africa ranking the Ghana is placed sixth behind Tunisia, Nigeria, Algeria and Morocco respectively.
