Workers at shine feel company limited, a plastic and toilet manufacturing company at Asutware has been asked to apply the safety rules to ensure an accident-free environment at the workplace.
At the company’s annual get together, the factory manager Mr. John Dziwornu said safety was not just to protect workers from injury but to lower cost and increase productivity.
He added safety was the right thing businesses must encourage to increase the quality of output at all times.
“Workers must be very cautious about how they handle the waste. They are the key people we work with and they must be strong for us”.
Mr. John Dziwornu revealed that going forward the company has acquired machines that will process palm kennel and coconut shells into charcoal for export. This he noted will employ more workers in the company.
Meanwhile touching on the company’s social responsibility he said a lot has been done and is hoping to do more in the coming years.
Awards were presented to the best and hardworking workers.
