Ghanaian boxer Patrick Allotey, has apologized over his misconduct in Sunday’s Super Clash game between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium where he injured a Kotoko supporter.

In a video circulating on social media, Allotey was seen in a tussle with the Kotoko Supporter by name Michael Siaw. The tussle between the two saw Michael Siaw wounded badly after the fight.

Allotey in an interview with Ghana’s number one Sports Station, Happy FM has apologized to Ghanaians over his misconduct and unprofessional behavior.

“I went to the stadium to support Christopher Nettey of Asante Kotoko. I admit it was me in the video circulating. I want to apologize to Ghanaians and both Hearts and Kotoko supporters fan for the incident that happened”, he told Happy FM.

Allotey explained what ensued between the two which resulted in the fight.

“The guy was blocking my view and I called him to tell him to leave there but he didn’t badge, so I decided to pull him and it resulted to the fight. I really regret what I did and I apologize”.

Allotey also pleaded with the Ghana Boxing Authority to forgive him as according to the rules he is likely to lose his Boxing license should he be implicated.

“I will also plead with the GBA to also forgive me”

Happy Sports understands that Michael Siaw has lodged a complaint to the Police and investigations are been carried.
