In less than 3 months into 2020, there have been horrifying accidents on the Kintampo stretch that have broken the hearts of many Ghanaians.

Happyghana.com has however compiled a list of major accidents that left Ghanaians sad.

1.Family of 4 perishes in gory Kintampo accident on 7 January 2020

Four people of the same family died in an accident involving a Mercedes Benz and a Yuntong bus at Alhassan Akuraa on the Kintampo road.

The Benz (private), according to reports, veered off its lane and collided with a Yutong bus rendering the driver who happens to be the husband, 65 years, the newly married wife, a son and a brother died instantly.

2. 2 women, 1 pregnant, perish in an accident at Kintampo road on February 21, 2020

Two women, one pregnant, died at Kintampo in the Bono East Region on Friday, February 21, 2020, when a vehicle they were traveling with, crashed into a cargo truck transporting logs.

The victims were trapped under logs for almost two hours before personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service was able to clear the logs and removed them from their car.

3. 28 burnt to death in Kintampo-Tamale gory crash on March 9, 2020

28 persons were confirmed dead after two buses collided on the Kintampo-Tamale Highway.

The deceased in the crash were burned beyond recognition after the wreckage caught fire.

There were six survivors who have been sent to nearby health facilities.
