According to him, there is nothing like ‘Sika duro’ which translates to blood money but with hard work, one can make it in life.

In an interview with Rev Erskine on Y107.9FM’s ‘Myd Morning Radio Show’, the astute politician disclosed that he used to work two jobs in the 90’s and saved enough to buy a vehicle to start a taxi business.

“I saved enough from my two (2) jobs, bought a Chevy Impala and started driving it as a taxi in the Bronx in America. I made sure to save $100 daily, made $3,000 in a month bought another car to add to my taxi business,” he said.

On his authority, in a space of seven months after that he managed to acquire eight (8) more taxis to start his taxi pool. And gave it to others to drive on a contractual basis paying him $280 weekly.

He revealed that he was able to achieve all that regardless of challenges he faced without a green card in America.
Kennedy disclosed that it was through his taxi business he was able to save enough to buy his first house worth $24,000 in 1988 at the ambassadorial enclave.
