COVID-19: We've had to return some cheques - Mr. Drew

Ghanaian singer with dope dance moves, Mr. Drew, christened Andrew Otoo has disclosed that the COVID-19 pandemic has led him to lose out on a lot of money.

According to him, his team has had to cancel so many shows after the virus hit the world.

The musician noted that organizers of these events had already made payments to his team before the pandemic even hit.

In an interview with Happy 98.9 FM’s DJ Advicer on the ‘Ayekoo After Drive’ the musician said, “we’ve had to return some cheques the team received from some event organizers because the shows were cancelled when the COVID-19 pandemic struck.”

He added that he had even started playing some of these shows in Europe a month prior to the virus becoming a pandemic.

The ‘Dw3’ hitmaker acknowledged that a lot of musicians are feeling the pain from the virus. “We’re all making loses at the moment. “

He also advised Ghanaians to take care of their health and exercise more as the world suffers the pandemic and appreciated his team for their support.

On the same show, Mr. Drew premiered his new song titled ‘Eat’ which features 1Gad, Stonebwoy.
