British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, escaped an accident on Wednesday when he left the British Parliament.

Daily Mail reported that a Kurdish protestor jumped in front of the Prime Minister’s car and in an attempt to avoid knocking the man, the car halted before a security vehicle following behind collided with the Prime Minister’s vehicle.

According to the report an activist from a group demonstrating outside the British Parliament’s gates in Westminster ran towards Mr Johnson’s Jaguar XJ Portfolio V8 LWB Autoas, which left in a convoy after a question time in the legislature.

The lead car was forced to stop, with an escorting vehicle running into the back of it in what appeared to be a minor collision. The vehicles then drove off, with a dent visible in the back of Mr Johnson’s £54,000 car.

The protester was knocked to the ground in the incident, and photos showed him being detained by police.

Several groups were protesting outside Parliament in small numbers on Wednesday, including anti-Brexit and pro-Kurdish groups. Johnson was returning to his office at 10 Downing St. from his weekly question-and-answer session with lawmakers when the crash happened.
