Ghana defender Baba Abdul Rahman has been ruled out of the on-going AFCON and is set to fly out of Gabon for Germany after the MRI scoan conducted on him detected that he has suffered anterior cruciate ligament tear and meniscus.
The news of his injury was broken to the Schalke 04 rear-guard by team doctor Dr. Baba, Wilfred Osei Palmer, Ibrahim Tanko, J.Y Appiah, Maxwell konadu and Sannie Daara.
The team has spoken to Schalke 04 about the unfortunate incident and Baba will leave Gabon for Germany on Friday.
Baba Rahman got injured in Ghana’s nervy 1-0 win over Uganda in their 2017 AFCON Group D opener in Port-Gentil.
He will most certainly have to go under the knife.
