The running mate for the opposition National Democratic Congress, Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang, as part of her campaign tours is touring the Northern part of Ghana.
Earlier, she paid a similar visit to the Brong Ahafo Region Bolgatanga, where she was received with a hero’s welcome by the residents of the place.
In Tamale, the same scene was witnessed. She campaigned on the various activities her government will undertake when given the mandate to assume office come 2021. Almost every rank and file in the North was very enthusiastic about her visit.

For someone who happens to be the first female vice running mate for a major political opposition party in Ghana, her announcement has yielded very positive results for the NDC. To Prof, she believes politics shouldn’t be done amidst insults. She made this known whilst granting an interview on Metro Tv with KSM. Her demeanor and composure has made the NPP party very aggressive. Many party members have even seen her introduction into mainstream politics as a threat to incumbency.
