Black Stars play-maker Christian Atsu has been engaged in a friendly banter with Everton and DR Congo attacker Yannick Bolasie on Instagram with the later claiming Ghana will be kicked out of the AFCON by his native country though he isn’t part of the team.
Christian Atsu only had to laugh it off insisting that Bolasie’s absence from the Leopards of DR Congo squad makes the Ghana side happy.
The interesting discussion began when Egypt’s Ahmed Hassan ‘Kouka’ posted a picture of himself and Atsu on Instagram where he was seen consoling the Ghana winger after they lost 0-1 to the Pharaoh. Apparently, both players were teammates at Portuguese side Rio Ave and Hassan took the opportunity to reaffirm the friendship between him and his ex-teammate who looked dejected after Ghana’s loss to Egypt.
Yannick Bolasie is out of the AFCON due to a bad knee injury which may rule him out of action for about a year.
