The Member of Parliament for Ablekuma North, Ewurabena Aubynn, has officially been sworn in as a member of the Governing Board of the Ghana Shippers Authority.
Her appointment comes shortly after her historic victory in the recent parliamentary rerun held on Friday, July 11, 2025, where she became the second National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate to win the Ablekuma North seat since 1992.
A first-time legislator, Ewurabena Aubynn is known for her strong background in social impact and community development.
Prior to her entry into politics, she founded the Awula Foundation in February 2023, a nonprofit organization that has since played a pivotal role in supporting vulnerable groups within the Ablekuma North Constituency.
Her inclusion on the Ghana Shippers Authority Board is seen as a move that will deepen grassroots engagement and bolster the Authority’s policy direction in trade and logistics.
