Happy98.9FM has announced Abossey Okai as the next host of its community engagement roadshow dubbed “Happy On Wheels” with support from SES HD PLUS GH Ltd, Ghana’s premium high-definition satellite broadcast service provider.

The episode promises to bring Happy FM’s personalities and programs to the doorsteps of listeners, traders and inhabitants at Abossey Okai for a “FeeliFeeli” radio experience on Friday, April 29, 2022.

‘Happy Sports’, ‘Nsem Pii’ social talk show and ‘Epa Hoa Daben” political talk show will be broadcasted live from Abbossey Okai; Kofata Motors with real time engagement with residents and traders.

A unique addition to this and subsequent editions of “Happy On Wheels” is the mini HD+ activation at the venue. Representatives of HD+ will be available to educate residents and traders on their unique offerings and demonstrate the pause, reverse and record functions available only on the HD+ Decoder.

Programmes Manager of Happy98.9FM, Elwoode Mantey described the “Happy On Wheels” initiative as one which bridges the gap between listeners/followers and the media personalities they follow and admire. “Not only will the public meet the faces behind the voices they hear on radio, but they will also get the opportunity to share challenges they face in their communities with Happy98.9FM to seek change”

Mrs Adelaide Abbiw-Williams; Head of Marketing, SES HD PLUS GH said “This collaboration with Happy FM aligns perfectly with our efforts to increase the accessibility of HD+ Decoders to TV homes in Ghana. With HD+ on board the Happy on Wheels campaign, we get to educate entire communities about quality and affordable TV viewing experiences at home or on the go as well as demonstrate the unique features of the HD+ service and how they allow TV viewers to have control over their TV viewing moments. HD+ Decoders will be available at each Happy on Wheels location with an installation team on standby to ensure a smooth onboarding process for our customers.

Join the Happy Fm and HD+ team on Friday; 29th April 2022 at Abossey Okai for a FeeliFeeli experience with many gifts and discounted offers. Listeners in Bono, Ahafo and Brong Ahafo Regions can join the program via Akonoba 92.7fm whereas listeners in Upper East Region can join live via Neesim 95.9fm. For listeners in Savannah, Northern and North East Regions, Neesim 100.1fm will broadcast the show live. For a video experience, watch the show live on Facebook page: @happy989fm
