As part of preparations towards this initiative, a planning committee was inaugurated on February 16, 2026, to oversee arrangements aimed at providing Ghanaian supporters with a seamless and memorable World Cup experience.

The committee is chaired by Hon. Alfred Okoe Vanderpuije, Member of Parliament for the Ablekuma South Constituency and Chairman of Parliament’s Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration Committee.
Other members of the committee include Tatse Nii Laryea Akuetteh X, Chief of Kpone Katamanso; Mr. Raymond Neequaye Kotey; Pastor Charles Ankamah Tetteh; Rev. Lord Lincoln Anatsui; and Madam Alice Nanor.
According to Ashton Travels, the committee has been tasked with developing standard and premium travel packages for Ghanaian supporters. These packages will include visa assistance, flight arrangements, accommodation, match tickets, insurance coverage, ground transportation, and guided tours.
Speaking during the inauguration of the committee, Hon. Okoe Vanderpuije emphasised the importance of football as a unifying force and highlighted the significance of the FIFA World Cup to fans across the world.
“Football is a passion that unites us all, and the FIFA World Cup represents the pinnacle of that passion,” he stated.
He added that the committee is committed to providing excellent services and comprehensive support to ensure that Ghanaian fans can experience the excitement of the tournament firsthand.
The company has announced that the official launch of the travel packages will take place on March 17, 2026, where further details about participation and registration will be made available to the public.
Football enthusiasts and supporters interested in joining the trip are encouraged to register their interest and follow Ashton Travels and Tours on its social media platforms for updates.
