Abraham Atta deserves free SHS Ambassador due to his track record- Events Republic Boss

Chief Executive Officer of Event Republic Mel Akwesi Davis has backed young and blistering Ghanaian actor Abraham Atta to succeed in his new role as the Ambassador for the free Senior High School programme.
Speaking on Happy FM’s Showbiz Xtra hosted by Dr. Cann, Mel, who manages music artistes like K.K Fosu, Apaatse and Dada Halfco was unhappy with the litany of criticisms that have arisen from Abraham Atta’s appointment and holds that having gone through the transition of rising from the streets of Ashaiman to Hollywood and the impact he is making on the world stage, he merits this accolade absolutely.
“I’m surprised that we see Abraham Atta’s Free SHS Ambassador role as a bad choice. Track record shows that this is a young boy who rose from the streets of Ashaiman and is now in Hollywood. He has been able to go as far as presenting an award at the Oscars. At his tender age, he was able to come down to distribute 10,000 shoes for children. So don’t you think that when this sort of person get about $20million, he will think of building a school in Ghana? We were in this country when Steven Seagal was installed “Nkosuohene” in one town in Ghana. One Ghanaian radio presenter was made a tourism Ambassador in Zimbabwe so can we say there were no artistes in that country who could have been given that role? Our own John Dumelo was honoured in DR Congo and was even given some land to develop in that country. I think we should support Abraham Atta’s appointment. Mel Kwesi Davis told Happy FM.
