The Ministry of the Interior has announced Tuesday, April 7, 2026, as the new date for the commencement of medical screening for applicants in the ongoing 2025/2026 internal security services recruitment exercise, following an earlier postponement from March 16.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of the Interior in collaboration with the recruiting agencies overseeing the process, the Ministry clarified that no SMS notifications regarding the medical screening have yet been sent to applicants, noting that all official messages will be dispatched between March 29 and March 31, 2026.

Applicants have been cautioned to disregard fraudulent messages demanding payment for medical screening, as such communications are not authorised.

All official SMS notifications, the Ministry stressed, will be sent only through the designated sender ID, that is CSERP.

It further explained that qualified applicants will observe a status change from “Qualified” to “Medical Screening” on their recruitment portal once the official SMS notifications are sent.

Applicants have been advised to verify both the SMS notification and the status update on their portal before proceeding with any payment through the approved secure web checkout system.

The Ministry emphasised that no applicant is required to send money directly to any mobile money number, urging the public to remain vigilant and report any suspected fraudulent activity through the official email address provided.

Medical screening will take place at designated centres across all regions.
