The Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe Abronye, has declared his readiness to appear before the Party’s National Disciplinary Committee following a referral by the General Secretary, Justin Frimpong Kodua.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Abronye said he is fully prepared to present his case before the Committee and substantiate his allegations against former Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong. He accused Mr. Agyapong of engaging in actions that undermine the cohesion and integrity of the party.

“I hereby write to indicate my full preparedness and willingness to appear before the Committee to comprehensively lay bare and substantiate the antichrist actions and inactions of Kennedy Agyapong,” the statement read.

The Bono Regional Chairman further proposed that the Committee’s sittings be conducted openly and broadcast live for the party’s grassroots to observe.

According to him, this would allow members of the NPP to witness the manifest antichrist posture and conduct of the former Assin Central legislator.

Abronye’s remarks come after the NPP formally invited him to appear before its disciplinary body.
