The Africa Sustainable Energy Centre (ASEC) is proud to announce the upcoming Africa Sustainable Energy Dialogue (ASED), which will take place virtually on Friday, May 16th, 2025, at 13:00 GMT.

Themed “Bridging Africa’s Energy Access Gap – Challenges, Innovations & the Path Forward”, this high-level dialogue aims to address one of the continent’s most pressing development issues: energy access. With over 600 million people in sub-Saharan Africa still lacking access to reliable electricity, the event will be a platform to explore innovative solutions, highlight practical policy strategies, and forge stronger public-private sector collaborations.

This year’s Africa Sustainable Energy Dialogue is expected to convene over 1,000 professionals, including global and national policymakers, energy sector leaders, development partners, industry experts, academicians, and innovators. Together, we aim to chart a forward-looking agenda that aligns with Africa’s sustainable development goals and energy transition ambitions.
