Controversial evangelist, Mama Pat also known as Nana Agradaa has publicly expressed her gratitude to President John Mahama for not taking “harsh action” against Sammy Gyamfi, the Acting Chief Executive Officer of Gold Board.
The incident in question sparked debate when a video surfaced, showing Agradaa snatching dollar bills from Gyamfi after he gifted her a significant amount.
Public concern over the display of wealth by a government official led to Gyamfi receiving an official query from Chief of Staff Julius Debrah.
Following his apology and explanation, the presidency decided that no further action was required apart from a caution.
Overjoyed by the outcome, Agradaa celebrated on social media, thanking Mahama and expressing relief that Gyamfi’s job remained secure.
The situation has generated widespread discussions on accountability and ethical standards for public officials.
