Former member of the separated Ruff n Smooth group, Ahkan, born Clement Foh Baah has disclosed that the formation of the group was the idea of Bullet.

In an interview with Happy FM’s DJ Advicer, he revealed that he met Bullet in 2003 and when they were both doing solo projects in the day.
“I had gone to record with hammer and met Bullet there. Then we were individual artistes promoting our songs until 2006 when we started meeting more and decided to form a group,” he said.

According to him, Bullet featured him on a project back then which birthed their union.

He stated that, “After promoting the song, Bullet felt the vibe and asked us to create something that was different.”

Bullet suggested Ruff n Smooth which resonated with Ahkan when the two were looking to name the group.

The seperated group, Ruff n Smooth now has both parties pursuing solo careers. Bullet, now an artiste manager is doing pretty well whilst Ahkan still pursues his music career.
