Presidential Candidate of the Ghana Freedom Party (GFP), Madam Akua Donkor, according to reports, has died.
Akua Donkor is said to have passed away at the Ridge Hospital in Accra in the late hours of Monday, October 29, 2024.
Although there is no official statement from the party and family, some sources close to her have confirmed her death.
The GFP leader was known for her humorous and peculiar way of doing politics.
Over the years, she has held her own with the other political parties.
Going into the December 7, 2024 elections, she was number 3 on the ballot paper and was hopeful of becoming Ghana’s next president.
