President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has called on governing boards and CEOs of state institutions to take advantage of the digitalization agenda to make their operations more efficient and effective.

President Akuffo Addo noted that digital technology offers a greater opportunity to enhance service delivery and improve citizens’ engagement.

According to him, his government is repositioning Ghana’s public sector to embrace digital transformation for high-efficiency.

“I make an appeal to all chairs of governing boards, and CEOs to welcome and initiate actions to digitalize their business operation”

Speaking at the 11th Annual Conference of Chairpersons of Governing Boards/Councils Chief Directors & Chief Executives on Wednesday, May 22 2024 at Kwahu Nkwatia, President Akufo Addo acknowledged the impact of Covid 19 on Ghana’s economy.
