Public Relations Officer(PRO) of the National Chapters Committee of Hearts of Oak, Cobby Asante Jones has expressed the committee’s optimism for a fresh start as the Accra-based club aims to regain its former glory in Ghanaian football.

The declaration comes in the wake of the appointment of Dutch coach Rene Haddick as the club’s new Technical Director.

HappySports can confirm that Rene Haddink will be assuming the pivotal role of Technical Director, replacing former assistant coach David Ocloo, who took charge as the interim manager after Coach Slavko Matic’s unfortunate encounter with some disgruntled fans. Matic was advised to stay away from the club, leading to Ocloo stepping in.

Hearts of Oak’s previous Ghana Premier League campaign ended on a disappointing note, with the team finishing 12th on the league log. However, with the appointment of Rene Haddick, the club’s management, along with the National Chapters Committee, believes that they can turn the tide and rebuild both the team’s prowess and its reputation as one of the most illustrious clubs in Ghana and the entire African continent.

Speaking about the new season’s aspirations in an interview with Happy Sports, the PRO of the National Chapters Committee of Hearts of Oak, Cobby Jones emphasized, “We want to see a new Hearts of Oak this season.”

This statement summarizes the collective desire of the club’s supporters and stakeholders for a revitalized and formidable team that can once again compete at the top level of Ghanaian football.

The Hearts of Oak faithful expressed unwavering support and enthusiasm for the new technical leadership.

With Haddick’s proven track record and experience, the club’s supporters are optimistic that this could be a turning point in their journey back to the summit of Ghanaian football.

As the new season approaches, all eyes will be on Hearts of Oak and their progress under the guidance of Rene Haddick.

Rene Haddick faces the monumental task of reshaping the team and instilling a winning mentality among the players. Nevertheless, with the backing of the National Chapters Committee and ardent fans, Hearts of Oak will be aiming for nothing short of success in the upcoming Ghana Premier League season.
