The Campaign team of Joana Gyan Cudjoe, Parliamentary Candidate for the National Democratic Congress in the Amenfi Central Constituency has been allegedly attacked by unknown assailants at Adjakamanso in the Western Region.
The attack happened during the Parliamentary Candidate’s last campaign tour ahead of the December 7 election.
Sources indicate that, the assailants attacked her regular RAM campaign vehicle branded with her pictures and that of John Dramani Mahama on November 30, 2024.
Meanwhile Joana Gyan Cudjoe who had previously embarked on her campaign trip earlier that day was not in the vehicle during the attack.
Her campaign team members were attacked physically, causing damage to the vehicle as well.
Official complaint had been lodged by the campaign team at the Dominase Police station to investigate.
The leadership of the the NDC in Amenfi Central are yet to release an official press statement on the matter.
