Four suspected armed robbers attacked a Cocoa depot at Fomena in the Ashanti region making away with One million Ghana Cedis.
According to reports, the suspected armed robbers invaded Agro Ecom Company Limited Cocoa Depot on Thursday evening around 6:20 pm.
The robbers who were carrying AK-47 assault rifles also made away with some undisclosed number of Mobile phones.
During the robbery, they shot a GMC Terrain 2 vehicle with registration number GS 9576-22 belonging to the depot manager.
Police upon tip off rushed to the scene but the robbers had already left.
The New Edubiase and Adansi police command have begun investigation and a manhunt for the suspects.
