AshantiGold SC Supporters Chief Oti Akenteng says any club official involved in the match-fixing scandal against Inter Allies should be punished.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has charged some officials, technical team and the playing body for match manipulation in their premier league game against Inter Allies.

According to the Supporters Chief, the GFA should ensure all those involved are banned from football.

“Anybody involved in the match-fixing scandal should be punished by the Ghana Football Association. Even if they deserve a life ban from football.

“Even if it’s a life-ban we will be happy. We will even hold a celebration in town.

“We want the media to plead on the club’s behalf so the club will be spared. We are pleading with Kurt Okraku and the disciplinary committee to pardon AshantiGold SC but the officials involved should be punished”.
