Winners of the Tier 2 Normalization Committee’s Special competition, Ashantigold have indicated that they will resume camping on Saturday, 13th July, 2019 in preparations for their participation in the 2019-20 CAF Confederation Cup.
The ‘Miners’ defeated Nzema Kotoko by a lone goal in the finals of the Tier 2 competition which earned them the sole ticket to represent Ghana in the 2019-2020 CAF Confederations Cup.
In a post on their official Facebook page, the team announced that they are currently on break and will resume on Saturday 13th July 2019 to prepare for the upcoming Season.
“The team will resume on Saturday 13th July, 2019 to prepare ahead of our participation and n the 2019/20 TOTAL CAF CONFEDERATIONS CUP”. The post on Facebook stated.
The first leg of the preliminary stage of the 2019/20 CAF CONFEDERATIONS CUP will be played from 9th to 11th of August 2019.
The draw for the preliminary is yet to be conducted by CAF.
