ASN office complex auctioned to defray debt

Auctioneers last Monday December 11, 2017 auctioned the office complex belonging to ASN Financial Services limited.
The  financial institution and debt recovery company as well as a real estate developer has been indebted for nearly a year now.
According to reports, the matter was sent to court for the debts owed by ASN financial services to be retrieved.
The court in a ruling  has ordered an auctioneer to auction the three- storey building belonging to the company located at Madina- Firestone  in the Greater Accra Region.
Reports have it that a business man who the company owes several millions of Ghana Cedis took the matter to court for the court to take a decision on the matter after several attempts to get the Managing Director of the company to live up to expectations.
The auctioneers and management of the company are tight-lip on the matter of the auction.
Earlier, this year some angry customers of ASN Financial Services protested the delays in the refund of their investments from the company.
The customers who have been investing with the company for some time now are angry over the delays by management of the savings and loans company to pay their hard earned investments.
Management of ASN Financial Services met over 1000 clients to explain reasons why customers cannot have access to monies they invested in the company and subsequently pleaded with them to wait for a year before their investments are refunded.
But this request was rejected by the aggrieved customers who say they will not look on as the company swindles them of their savings.
One of the customers who invested over GHC50, 000 and was due to collect around GHc70, 000 told the media that he was asked to wait for some before he can be paid.
