The Acting Odekro of Otuam, Nana Okai Bokoe has predicted victory for former President Dramani Mahama praying the spirit of the late Professor Evans Fiifi Atta Mills their kinsman will guide him through the mill.
He has however appealed to him to remember them and the late President Mills his mentor when he gets the nod to rule the nation after the 2020 polls.
“When you go to heaven remember us” he cried.
According to the Odekro, the Chiefs and people of Otuam as well as late President Mills spirit will surely rally behind former President Mahama and strongly believed Mahama will be crown the victorious come the 2020 presidential elections.
John Dramani Mahama who embarked on a two-day campaign tour of the Central Region as part of activities visited the home of his late mentor and was prayed for my the elders who are optimistic of his electoral victory in 2020.
On his part, the Presidential candidate of the party promised to construct dormitory attached to the Prof Mills community Senior High School at Otuam to accommodate boarding students.
According to him, though he lost the 2016 elections, he has gathered momentum and risen immediately to face the challenges in order to win the 2020 polls and continue from where he left off saying “a strong man is one when he falls down he gets up and continue his journey”.
