Deputy Director of communication for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the United States has condemned Hajia Fati, a loyal member of the NPP for physically assaulting a journalist.
Frederick Kofi Ameyaw in an interview on Happy Fm’s Epa Hoa Daben with Kwame Afrifa Mensah on Tuesday, April 8 emphatically stated that Hajia Fati must be banned from the NPP headquarters for slapping Adom Fm’s Ohemaa Sakyiwaa in the face.
He indicated that since the party issued a statement asking some leading members like the deputy general secretary of the party, Nana Obiri Boahen to more or less stay away from the media and not to speak, he is also said that the party should issue a statement and ban Hajia Fati from the party headquarters until she discontinues such activities.
“The party issued a statement and asked Abronye to more or less stay away from the media. I’m also opining that the party should issue a statement and ban Hajia Fati from the party headquarters. So if Abronye, Nana Obiri Boahen have been asked not to speak, I’m also asking that Hajia Fati should be asked not to step foot into the party office until there is such a time such activities will sto because it is bad”
Some other journalists suffered attacks at the NPP headquarters in 2017.
