Multiple Award winning Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy has teamed up with South African heavyweight rapper, Cassper Nyovest on a new song titled, ‘Wame’.
SA- born Cassper Nyovest, who easily spearheads contemporary hiphop on the continent, was in Ghana some few weeks ago to sample the culture and record with counterparts from these parts.
It’s a collaboration of West and Southern Africa with this one, as the 2018 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) Reggae/Dancehall artiste of the year linked up with the ‘Doc Shabeleza’ hitmaker.
Having indicated that Ghanaian dancehall icon, Stonebwoy is his favourite performer in the genre an interview, it was unsurprising that the two met up to record new music.
This marks the second time since the musicians are collaborating on music –the first being Fever (2015).
The result is the dancehall and hip-hop fusion “Wame.”
