Born on March 17, 1965, in Nima, Accra, Mr. Naser Toure Mahama was a seasoned politician who represented the Ayawaso East Constituency in the Greater Accra Region on the ticket of the NDC, which is currently in power.

He first entered Parliament in 2012 after winning the seat in the general elections and was subsequently re-elected in successive polls.

In the 2024 general elections, he secured a resounding victory, polling over 70 percent of the valid votes cast.

Beyond politics, Mr. Mahama was a businessman with a solid academic background. He held a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Central University, a Diploma in Governance from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Doshisha University in Japan.
